The Formation of AMiMO
In a significant stride towards revolutionising the landscape of manufacturing, MODAPTO, along with the MARS, MODUL4R, and ONE4ALL projects, has forged the AMiMO cluster. Standing for Automated Manufacturing with Intelligent Modules, AMiMO unites these projects under the auspices of the Horizon Europe Programme to focus on excellence in distributed control and modular manufacturing.
Cluster Objectives
AMiMO is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of production systems through the utilisation of cyber-physical modules. The cluster’s goals include:
- Enhancing the impact of individual projects by expanding their reach and applications.
- Facilitating a significant dissemination and communication of advanced scientific developments across Europe.
- Enabling resource sharing and collaboration among leading experts who are united in their research endeavors.
- Strengthening the network and cooperation among EU-funded research projects to foster a collaborative ecosystem.
