The MODAPTO System has reached its final release and is now publicly available on GitHub. It provides a stable and integrated platform that supports modular and reconfigurable manufacturing through interoperable Digital Twins and Smart Services.
Production modules can be onboarded as Digital Twins using the Asset Administration Shell (AAS), ensuring standardised interfaces and seamless integration across systems. Smart Services can be registered, assigned, and orchestrated to enable real-time decision-making and system optimisation.
The platform includes centralised user and access management, a unified web interface for system monitoring and control, and a robust event-driven communication layer based on industry-proven technologies. A single API Gateway enables consistent access to all system components and supports integration with external systems.
