On May 2nd, the MODAPTO project reached a significant milestone as our esteemed partners from Iltar-Italbox presented our innovative project during a highly anticipated dissemination event. This event was promoted by the Digital Innovation Hub Piemonte, in collaboration with Confindustria Canavese, and took place at the impressive premises of Iltar-Italbox in Torino.
The event drew an enthusiastic audience of approximately 120 individuals, including SMEs from the Piedmont and Acosta Valley regions, as well as undergraduate industrial students. It provided a platform to showcase the remarkable progress and potential of the MODAPTO Horizon Europe Project.
Mr.Julien Mascolo, Digital Innovation Manager at Iltar-Italbox, took center stage to describe the project’s digitalization path in terms of process optimization. He delved into the implementation of a plant digital twin (DT) that monitors consumption, detects anomalies, and facilitates diagnostics and predictive maintenance. Mr. Mascolo provided an insightful overview of the project, and further focused on highlighting the objectives of the CRF-Iltar use case within the MODAPTO project.
The dissemination event proved to be a resounding success, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among industry professionals, SMEs, and aspiring industrial students. It showcased the immense potential of the MODAPTO project and emphasized the importance of digital transformation in the manufacturing sector.
